Application of driver in suspension coating machine

Suspension coating machine is one of the key equipments in the packaging industry, and its winding control has high requirements on tension accuracy and acceleration and deceleration time.

The servo performance driver coupled with the high-speed motion controller can realize fast rotation speed detection and winding diameter calculation in a distributed manner, and provide high-precision torque control, which meets the winding control requirements of a vacuum coating machine.

This article discusses in detail the application of the driver in a floating coating machine.

The winding control of the coating machine requires high-precision torque control. In the past, DC drive was generally used, but with the rapid development of AC drive technology, AC permanent magnet synchronous servo motors or AC asynchronous motors are now gradually driven.

The drive has servo-level drive performance, and drives AC asynchronous motors to achieve smooth torque control. It provides an easy-to-use solution for this industry. Users only need to set a few simple parameters to achieve actual production requirements and operation. And debugging is easy.

Characteristics of suspension coating machine transmission system:

1. Because the vacuum chamber is small, it is impossible to install the tension detection device, so the rewinding and unwinding tensions are directly controlled by the motors that drive the rewinding and unwinding.

Therefore, both the rewinding and unwinding drives work in torque mode. For lighter and thinner materials, the rewinding must also have a tension taper function.

2. Due to process reasons, there is no pressure roller on the cooling roller that functions as the main drive, so the cooling roller can only drive the film by friction; when the tension between winding and unwinding is large, the film can easily slip on the cooling roller. How to prevent slippage is a difficult problem in drive control.
